Side-by-side trials
A fixed protocol, thresholds agreed up front, and the risk on our side of the table until it passes.
The offer
Every Fenrow commercial relationship starts the same way: an organo-mineral fertiliser trial on your benches, run side by side with your current program and judged against thresholds agreed before a single tray is sown. The most convincing evidence in horticulture is the evidence you generate yourself.
One page, signed by both sides before the trial begins: the crop, the media, the comparison arm, the assessment points and the pass thresholds. Both parties approve the thresholds before the trial begins, and neither party can change them afterwards.
Your current program and the Fenrow program, same crop, same benches, same water, same hands. Your team runs it; we support it.
The standing gates are germination uniformity within 5% of your control arm, vigour at dispatch within 5%, and transplant establishment within 2 points. We also measure leachate nitrate and report any reduction. Residual coating shells per litre of media are counted in both trial arms. That last number tends to speak for itself.
Both arms are reported in full against the agreed thresholds. We report the results without inflated language or selective interpretation. The final write-up shows what happened, regardless of the outcome.
Risk reversal, in writing: if Fenrow misses an agreed gate, the trial media is credited. Until the protocol passes on your benches, the risk remains with Fenrow. We believe that is the fairest way to introduce a new product.
Who we trial with
Fertiliser directly affects the cost of every pot, which is why Fenrow is proving the product in nurseries first.
Potted colour, trees, shrubs and wholesale greenlife use substantial volumes of fertiliser per cubic metre of growing media. Retail and landscape customers are also asking more questions about sustainability.
Uniformity is fundamental to high-volume propagation. NIASA and EcoHort accreditation, together with supply-chain audits, make input performance and documentation especially important.
Faster decisions, hands-on production teams and tight cost-per-pot economics make these nurseries ideal early trial partners.
If you specify or blend growing media for the nurseries above, a single conversation with us can be worth having before your next spec review.
Tell us the crop, format and current nutrition program. We will define the comparison and success gates with you before the first pot is filled.
